I can remember the days when bar pictures and party night shenanigans flooded my newsfeed every weekend. I can remember that hangover feeling myself - the sure sign that a fun time was had. At that time in our lives, that was really living!
Over the weekend I noticed things have changed. No longer does a hangover signify a fun weekend. Rather, a tuckered out, chubby-cheeked little fella, who experienced a candy bar (with hints of chocolate still in the corners of his mouth) and played in the leaves for the very first time = a full heart for this mama.

Sorry I'm not sorry for the Noah overload on my social media accounts. I'm quite the proud parent and over-sharer that I always said I wouldn't be. But aside from that, I'm also noticing so many of my friends entering exciting new seasons in their own lives. Every day I see engagements, marriages, houses being built, new business ventures blooming, babies being born, addictions being kicked, and families making memories together.
There is so much negative in the world, but if you look around, there are also plenty of great things happening. My heart smiles when I see so many of my friends and family growing and walking through the doors God has opened for them.
